Are you ready to XXX?
The [X] week [course] for [ideal client] looking for [end result].
Catchy tagline about what they REALLY want to create in their life/biz.
Tell me if I’m right…
Show them that you really understand them by telling them what you know about their current situation
Describe their everyday life from their perspective – what are they struggling with? What keeps them up at night worrying? Make sure to use the words that they would use.
Describe the vision they have for their life moving forward. What’s different? What would it feel like for them to have this?

Hey, l’m Gertrude and l’m really freaking good at this stuff.
This is the part where you tell them how you fully understand where they are because you’ve been there before. Share your “story” about how you’ve been where they are now and what it was life for you.
People connect with EMOTIONS so share how it felt to be in the situation. Everyone’s circumstances are a little different so by focusing on the feelings you shared, you’ll build a more powerful connection with them.
They need to feel like you really “get them” to move forward. Most likely, they’ve probably already tried #allthethings to fix their problem and the didn’t work for them. This is your chance to show them that you completely understand where they’re coming from because you also tried #allthethings.
Make sure not to focus on the negative parts of the story too much. It’s definitely important to mention them, but we don’t want this page to sound negative. This story should be building momentum and end at the part where you finally reached the “end of the rope” and something had to change.
The more specific detail, the better. The more emotional descriptors, the better. People will. not. care. about your story unless it connects with them in some way. Please please puh-lease don’t forget that it’s so much easier to connect with FEELINGS and EMOTIONS than with a vague outline of what happened to you.
Until I realized something… XXX is so not the answer…
Share the turning point / the missing piece of the puzzle
Lemme show you what it Can looks like on the other side
Give an idea of the after… now that blah blah blah, I spend my days blah blah blah. I know there’s always that super cheesy thing like “if I can do it, you can too!” but for real. I live in Oklahoma. I am the most socially awkward introvert you’ll ever meet. But I’m also really effing good at what I do. And I know you are, too. And I fully believe that you can, too.
- Maybe even give some bullet points of things you’ve done
- Or share some of your fav client results
- $Xk months and X new clients
- Fancy pantsy new car and weekly blowouts
- Whatever is exciting for you is probably exciting for ideal clients
Imagine sharing results like this
Yes!
OMG. You’re so ready for this…
If you’re reading this right now then I’d be willing to bet that you’ve…
Use these bullet points to pre-qualify your ideal client by telling them exactly who this program/course/whatever was created for.
You’ve been [doing something that all your ideal clients think they need to do, but you know that really isn’t the answer to getting results].
Make sure you’re using these strategically to make sure it’s the right person. Refer to the video for examples!
Remind them of what they’ve been missing – the missing piece is XXX and the missing end result that’s totally possible for you is XXX.

Don’t take my word for it…
“Key takeaway from the testimonial”
I like to summarize the “story” of the testimonial here… almost like a mini-case study for those that don’t like to watch videos. It’s always a good idea to go even deeper into the clients’ situation – paint a vivid picture of where they were before (what were they struggling with? why did they seek you out?). Then dive into the after and share some good stuff the client from the project.
Or you could always just delete the text column altogether and only show the video! That totally works too!

“I loved working with Brooke! She did an amazing job of really getting into what it was that I needed and wanted and asked me the tough questions that really made me think (THANK YOU!). She was able to help me with brand clarity and direction AND building a website, which was so awesome and time saving. ”

“I feel as though I got more focused and more done in the past 3 months than I was able to in the past year. I am in action because I know what action I need to take.”

“I had my doubts about what value I could gain from just talking to a stranger about my business, but it has been the absolute best decision of my life. Brooke’s ability to pinpoint exactly what I’m trying to communicate (and call me on the things I am avoiding) has been instrumental in bringing me the clarity I need to communicate with my clients. Working with Brooke has made me braver and more confident in my own abilities – she’s helped me transform my fears into strengths that actually define my brand and attract the right clients. As I move forward into a business model of providing writing coach services to others, I’m incredibly glad I have Brooke as a role model. She has a combination of friendliness, professionalism, and solid know-how that I can only hope to emulate.”

“When I started BBL the only thing I knew for sure was that I want to have my own business. Now I not only know what kind of business I want but also what it takes to set up and run it. BBL helped me to get a clear vision of what I want my business to look like. For me, this is a whole new chapter and I love all the things I’ve learned. What I appreciate the most is that the homework is hands-on and at the end of a module, you get actionable answers/tools to work with and not just blablabla.

lt’s time to trust yourself…
Write a little closing note that includes anything else they might need to hear to make their decision. At this point in the page it’s not about details or features or benefits – it’s about trusting themselves (and your support) to be able to do the work and get the result they want so badly.
